Rihanna...She Only Needs One Name.

Her full name is actually Robyn Rihanna Fenty, but she's simply known to us all as Rihanna. She's only 20 years old and she's already won over 40 awards for her music! She was born in Barbados, where she grew up singing and perfecting her art. At the age of 15, she received her biggest break when a producer heard her music, passed it along the industry, and into Jay-Z's lap. He then signed her onto Def Jam Records, which has been her label ever since.

Although Rihanna is known as a musician, I really feel that it's her bold style that's truly revolutionary. Whether it's the hair, the shoes, the clothes, or the makeup, Rihanna's style is always memorable (for good reasons). If there's one thing I've noticed in terms of her red carpet attire, it's that shorter and tighter is better. The majority of the dresses she appears in are babydoll or body-hugging, form-fitting minis.

I'm talking Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek, everyone's favorite know-it-all tomboy and the object of Dawson Leary's affection for who knows how many years. Katie was born on December 18, 1978 in Toledo, Ohio to your average Roman Catholic family. As I've already mentioned, she gained notoriety for playing Josephine Potter on Dawson's Creek alongside James Van Der Beek. Anyway, as I was saying, Katie Holmes was originally known by everyone as a meek, average girl. She's always been beautiful and everything, but it used to be a very understated beauty.

Now, she's this glamorous, enigmatic character living a charmed life shrouded with mystery. I saw her on Oprah's special with Tom Cruise where he talked about their marriage and life with baby Suri, but I still feel like Katie Holmes is being kept hidden. Everytime I see her on the red carpet she just stands there glued to Tom Cruise's arm like a statue. She rarely says anything, and Tom answers all interview questions while she just stands there smiling. Strange.

Even stranger is her obsession with chopping her hair shorter and shorter. I understand wanting to mimic gal-pal Victoria Beckham's chic bob, but I think Ms. Katie Holmes has taken it a bit too far. Soon, she might pull a Natalie Portman and shave her head bald!

The fabulous marathoner has been blessed with a supermodel-slim figure, pre- and post- baby bump. It's almost ridiculous how quickly she lost the baby weight. She ballooned to the size of a small tent during pregnancy, and now she's probably thinner than before. The wonders of Hollywood.
